Our practice manager is responsible for the smooth running of the practice. Our receptionists and secretaries are available to help you with any queries.
They may need to ask you for further details when you phone for medical advice in order to direct you to the most appropriate professional to deal with your problem.
Health Visitor and School Nurse
We work closely with the Early Years team to help patients with child development problems.
District Nurses & Community Matrons
We work closely with the district nursing to provide care at home for patients who are housebound or have cancer.
Treatment Room
In the treatment room (ground floor) our patients can access a number of services including a Minor Injuries Clinic, wound care, ear care and ECG and 24 hour blood pressure monitoring.
Practice Nurses
Our practice nurses monitor all our patients with long term conditions including Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Heart disease, Hypertension, Learning Disability, Dementia and Severe Mental Health problems.
Our nurses undertake all childhood immunisations, seasonal flu immunisation and can give comprehensive travel health advice.
Our nurses offer women’s health advice including contraception, HRT and cervical smear testing.
We also offer well-person checks.

Test Results
Please telephone in the afternoons for test results and allow 3-5 days for urine and blood results, 10 days for X-rays and scans and 6-8 weeks for smear tests.
Counselling
Counselling services are available in the health centre and your GP can refer you to this service.
Home Visits
We provide home visits for patients who are housebound or are too ill to be brought to the surgery.
We would appreciate it if patients or their carers would ring before 10am for visits on the same day.
In most cases a doctor will contact you following the request to arrange the visiting time.
