Surgery Hours
The surgery is open 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
Home Visits
We provide home visits for patients who are housebound or are too ill to be brought to the surgery.
We would appreciate it if patients or their carers would ring before 10am for visits on the same day. In most cases a doctor will contact you following the request to arrange the visiting time.
Antibiotic Prescribing
We do not issue antibiotic requests over the telephone. If you are ill and feel you need treatment please contact the surgery to book an appointment with the doctor to be assessed.
This is in line with guidelines to reduce antibiotics resistance within the population

Outpatient Prescriptions POLICY 2016
If you have been to an outpatient clinic in hospital and have been given a handwritten note to give into the GP surgery to enable a prescription, please be aware that for safety reasons, checking of medical records and potential instructions etc. You should allow SEVEN DAYS for this to be done, (except for genuine emergency situations).
In the majority of cases it is NOT essential or realistic to anticipate the GP prescription on the same day. You will often have to wait a long time for the appointment and GP workloads are so severe that priority must be given to the sickest patients. The hospital doctor can write an actual prescription if he/she deems the medication to be started immediately.

Out of Hours Care
Urgent care between 6.30pm and 8.00am and at weekends is offered by the local out of hours service run by GPs and can be accessed by ringing 111.

All our staff are bound by strict rules of confidentiality.
We welcome comments both positive and negative. Complaints should be addressed to the practice manager initially and we will always endeavour to resolve these within the practice.
We run a Patient Participation Group please ask our manager for details if you would like to become involved.
